Setting 3G HP sebagai modem guna Laptop

Selamat pagi pembaca budiman sekalian,

Nokia N95 (contoh HP 3G)

Topik kali ini saya rasa amat unik dan mungkin anda semua boleh mencubanya. Terdapat dua cara untuk menggunakan telefon 3G anda mengakses ke internet. Fisrt, dengan menggunakan Bluetooth Hp dan Blutooth Laptop anda. Second, dengan menggunakan USB Cable yang khas untuk handphone anda ke laptop/komputer.

Walau bagaimanapun, di sini saya akan ceritakan tentang cara yang pertama tadi sahaja iaitu menggunakan Bluetooth. Langkah2 di bawah mungkin berlainan bagi setiap telco (maxis, celcom) dan model telefon, tapi at least anda akan mendapat sedikit idea tentang cara setup 3G HP sebagai modem.

Langkah 1 : ‘On’kan Bluetooth pada Hp anda.
Pada HP 3g anda, pergi ke bahagian Setting -> Menu -> Connections, dan klik ikon Bluetooth. Setkan juga phone’s visibility ke “Show to all”. Seterusnya, namakan juga telefon anda di Preference, bahagian “Your Phone’s Name”.

Langkah 2 : Setup Bluetooth pada laptop anda

1. Klik Start -> Control Panel -> Bluetooth Devices. Klik Add… Seterusnya akan terpapar Add Bluetooth Device Wizard.

2. Tandakan “My device is set up and ready to be found” dan klik Next.

3. Wizard akan mencari device Bluetooth yang available dan dipaparkan mengikut susunan. Sekarang, pilih device yang baru di jumpai itu dan klik Next.

4. Anda akan menjumpai skrin Passkey Setup. Sila tandakan “Let me choose my own passkey dan masukkan apa2 passkey anda (seolah2 password) dan klik Next.

5. Anda akan melihat device Bluetooth anda diinstall. Setelah selesai, anda akan ditanya, “Add to My devices?”, klik Yes. Masukkan Passkey yang sama dalam langkah 4 tadi, dan klik OK. Instal Bluetooth akan bersambung.

6. Klik Finish untuk habiskan wizard Add Bluetooth Device.

Langkah 3 : Setup New Connection pada Laptop anda.

1. Pergi ke Control Panel -> Network Connections, pada panel kiri, klik Create a new connection.

2. Anda akan melihat New Connection Wizard window, klik Next.

3. Terdapat beberapa option untuk connection, sila pilih Connect to the Internetdan klik Next.

4. Kemudian pilih “Set up my connection manually” dn klik Next.

5. Pilih “Connect using a dial-up modem” dan klik Next.

6. Pada skrin Device selection, pilih Modem – Bluetooth DUN Modem (COM21), dan klik Next.

7. Masukkan nama ISP dan klik Next.

8. Masukkan no telefon ISP. Dalam kes ini saya gunakan Maxis, *99#. Kemudian, klik Next.

9. Untuk Connection Availability, tandakan Anyone dna klik Next.

10. Masukkan username dan password anda, serta confirmkan password. Klik Next.

11. Seterusnya, tandakan “Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop”, dan akhir sekali klik Finish.

Tahniah anda baru sahaja setup HP 3G anda sebagai modem laptop. Seterusnya anda boleh gunakan internet anda seperti biasa selepas mendail connection.

Cuba experiment dengan *99# dahulu. Kemudian *99***1#, *99***2#, *99***3#, dan last sekali *99***4#. Itu mungkin data profile, berlainan setiap jenis HP.

klu komputer xde bluetooth camner lak klu setting pakai kabel usb camner pla komputer kena ada bluetooth gak ke

Yang tu mungkin konfigurasi sama ada untuk HP ataupun untuk telco sama ada maxis-celcom. Tapi selalunya rotate kat number2 itu sahaja.

klu pakai kabel..cucuk kabel aje..langkah 1 ngan 2..tak perlu buat..dok gitu?

ada dekan..cara dapat free..tapi rahsia nii tak ramai yg tau..yg tau tuu bikin bisnes pulak jual ebook..sy sendiri pun tgh korek2 nih ttg kebenaran nii samada palsu atau benar..maklumat awal, pakai software..software ape tak tau..igtkan klu2 dekan tau..leh share2 kat cni..

How to access the web through their walled garden!

You can move around their shi*e lan as much as you like, but it’s difficult to get out. There is a way tho, most people talk about that email gateway thing, just shows how much people are forgetting these days.
The best way, which does require two 3g handsets, but only if you want to set it up yourself, is to download a program off the net that allows you to run your own proxy server, for example 602LAN Suite. Install this, setup the proxy server to access the internet over your broadband connection, i say broadband coz if you did this on dialup you are just silly really, and then you will be running a proxy server at 0.0.0.0:8080, if port 8080 is the port you chose, and 0.0.0.0 is your computers ip address.

NOTE: at this point you need to record the ip address of the three phone you have connected to the above system, simply dialup to 3’s lan as described below, but do this on the system mentioned above, hence y u need two 3 handsets, one for your desktop connected to broadband, and one for the notebook/laptop your taking with you.
How to find your ip address, if in windows xp, simply right click on the little computer flashy thingy by the clock, and slelect status, click details, and the ip you want is the one that says “Client address” NOT “server address”. Make a note of this ip, as you will need to enter it in the next step.

Then its simple, with your notebook/laptop, and other 3g phone, go anywhere in the country with 3g or 2.5g signal, connect your phone to your laptop/notebook by usb cable provided with your phone, or bluetooth, and dialup to *99#, username and password is irrelavent. Then simply set your proxy settings in your browser to the details you found in the previous step.

If you have internet explorer, click tools, internet options, connections, choose your dialup connection from the list, click settings, and enter the ip address of the other 3 phone connected to your desktop at home, and the port number the proxy server is running on.

And viola, you’ve got unlimited free mobile internet!!!

hei , would you like to help me here….
i;m currently using a GPRS modem. i planning to use it to online. The sim card i using is Maxis connection, so i’m wondering what is the setting in order to make it online?

I’m not sure about GPRS modem. Is that Maxis Broadband? I’m currently using Maxis Broadband for the time being at home and it’s easy as the setup run itself when plugged the Modem USB.
